Racing summary – Mornington Park (25/8/20)

Well, as I’ve been completely caught short by the website editor being up & down like a you know what’s drawers this week…..I present this appallingly concise & underwhelming race report for the round of the Aust GT series.  Adrian, as usual in recent weeks, dominated again this round & even found spare time during his driving to assist those poor soles who found themselves out of their slot in the middle of his path.  Bumping them gently back into place with hardly a noticeable loss of time as he went whooshing past on his way to 130 laps, 4 ahead of Phil in 2nd on 126.

Rhys, in another good performance locked in 3rd on 124.  Rhys has been flying a little under the radar in this series so far,  but is proving to be one of the most consistently high performers of all the drivers & is an excellent chance to take home a top 3 finish at the end of this series. Rob Golley (4th), was one lap further back on 123, ahead of JB & Mal in 5th & 6th on 120 laps.  Dave Bantoft in the lovely Porsche finished 7th on 119, Dave Gray 8th on 113 with Tom Males (94) & Chris Priest (93) finalising the top 10.

 Top 3

1st - Adrian, 2nd - Phil, 3rd - Rhys
