A new series just in time for Christmas, and it was a wide variety of classic front engine sports cars from the 50s & early 60s on show this week. It was Rhys in the later of the Jags on display ( E-Type ) that ran beautifully & took out the win on 110 laps. Phil ran a close 2nd on 109, but this could have been due to the fact that everyone was too scared to attempt any passing moves on the 40 foot long Ford Battlebird, which Im sure could have quite easily covered all three lanes when cornering. John Batich drove very well & smoothly to take out 3rd place this week & only 1 lap back on 108. In 4th spot & making sure that team orders were enforced was yours truly, who was driving a very generously provided JB loaner car (the Jag XK120) after my own car in testing spent more time out of the slot than in it. Adrian Gray on 105 laps was in 5th, 1 lap clear of Dave Bantoft in 6th on 104 & Rob Golley in 7th on 103. There was a few laps gap back to Dave Gray (8th) on 98, Chris priest (9th) on 92, and Thomas Males who finished 10th on 57 laps, due in no small part to him unfortunately missing the first bracket entirely.
